small rant about bluesky
yknow, i wish there was a platform where i could get all the cool people from both twitter and bluesky and have them co-exist. twitter is full of nazis and bluesky is full of people who treat social media like interactive tv, and more specifically, interactive news channel and take eeeeeverything too seriously (or make it about something serious). those people probably didn't use social media much if at all pre-covid and tend to be on the older side so they lack social media etiquette, instead treating every aspect of it with a peculiarity that anyone who's actively online will just cringe at. like idk if i say something stupid i don't need some random reminding me of "the evil orange cheeto" will just annoy me but to them it feels like a normal interaction. the way i like to see my internet usage is more like those classic youtube videos with pure ethereal vibes where it's just a person having fun and not taking things too seriously yknow.
